Recently I saw videos featuring “things you didn’t know you needed from Amazon.” Which is completely dangerous for me. I want to buy them all. Then I thought what a great idea for a blog series on my new site. Our family of 7 sees our fair share of Amazon dropoffs. Even our daughter at college has some of her stuff delivered here.

I knew right away the first product I wanted to talk about. Anyone who is part of my Facebook group knows that we just did a major overhaul on our front yard. We built a front porch, bought furniture, built a fence, planted a garden and decorated the space. It’s one of my favorite places. I get to see my precious June Bug running around, safely within our newly fenced yard.
I get to sit on my front porch and hear the birds chirping and feel the heat on my skin as I write blog posts or just take in the silence. Something I’m getting better at every day.
I love almost every piece of being in my new front yard. Do you know what I don’t like? Bugs, critters, or anything like that ??? So we got some citronella candles to keep the bugs away. Except that every time I went to light the candle with a regular lighter I would burn myself ?
We ran out of our standard candle lighters, so my husband found one online and proclaimed to me how excited he was and how much I would love it. It was flexible and rechargeable he exclaimed. It kind of didn’t really register until it was delivered to my doorstep today. I have to admit this flexible lighter is pretty awesome!
This flexible candle lighter is chargeable – there is a USB plug at the bottom. When it lights up blue it’s completely charged. You then hit the little power button that turns on the spark and place the spark on the wick and voilà, you have lit candles sans the burnt fingers. Also nice because the wind does not have any effect on the flame.
