I’ve lost 7 pounds and about 4 inches and since everyone knows I love subscription boxes and unboxings I decided to try out the FabFitFun Style Box. I’ve done Stitch Fix and Truck Club, but this was my first time trying the FabFitFun Style Box, even though I do get their FabFitFun seasonal box. Similar to StichFix, the styling fee is $20 and you take a style quiz, can add comments, and can link to your Pinterest style board. Not sure if this is always the case, but I received 5 items. If you keep all items you get a 25% discount. For this box, I did have a one-time style credit as well.
So what did I get in my FabFitFun Style Box? Let’s unbox to find out.
The first thing I saw was this Mina Fitted Blazer. I don’t own many blazers, this would be my third one. This would be $68 alone and $51 if I keep everything. I really like this. I need to lose about 10 more pounds and it would fit just right. It fits now but it’s a bit snug around my back and underarm area. I’m going to keep this. Not sure when I will be back in the office, but I’m sure I will have in-person meetings at some point again and you always need a good black blazer. Plus I’m all for anything that I won’t be swimming in when I lose weight. I could lose 20 pounds and I think this would still fit comfortably.
The second item is a Martha Sleeveless Top. This is a really cute top that is versatile. You could wear this with shorts or jeans or dress it up with slacks and a blazer. This was listed at an additional 30% off, so it’s only $22.40 by itself or $16.80 if you get everything. This also fit but was a tad bit snug. If I needed to pull it off now I could, but if I lost 20 pounds I feel like I could make it work too. Interesting note, it’s labeled pink on the order form and it looks pink in a certain light, but at other times it looks orange.
The third item in the box was these Aubree Paperbag Printed Pants. These go for $58 alone and $43.50 with the full box. My first reaction was that these are totally not me. I’m not a printed pattern type of person. These are a nice light silky material. I could see wearing them to bed, lounging around the house or at the pool. I do like them better on (see below), but not sure what I’m going to do yet. The keep all discount is greater than these pants and when showing these in my group someone was interested, so I may gift them.
I think this one is my favorite. It’s the Miah O Ring Midi Skirt. This is $48 alone or $36 if I get everything. This has a really cute belt on the side and two slits. It comes down a little below my knees (see below). This fits, but I will feel a lot more confident 10 pounds less with a cute blouse.
I pulled this shirt from the box utterly confused as I didn’t see this picture on the order form, but upon a closer look I saw the name listed with no photo, hence why you see me in it below ? This is a Noa Embroidered Neck Sleeve Top. This is $48 alone and $36 if I were to get everything in the box. I like this blouse. It’s another one that is versatile. Could wear it with shorts, jeans or with a skirt or slacks and a blazer. I like the strap design too.
After trying on all of the items and factoring in the discount to keep them all I’m making the decision to keep everything. The discount to keep all of them is $61, which the only item that is more than that is the blazer. The only item I was considering returning was the printed pants, but I would have paid more if I returned them and kept everything else. In total, I will be paying $183.30. That isn’t too bad for 5 pieces of high-quality clothing.
